萨莉亚苏丹（多格雷·斯科特 Dougray Scott 饰）一直无法原谅妻子和自己的弟弟偷情，尽管妻子已经不在人世，但他依然被愤怒和绝望侵扰，整整四十天无法入睡，肉体和精神都已经濒临崩溃的边缘，再这样下去，他不仅无法继续坐在王位上，更有可能连性命都丢掉。
